Wood Pellets

Wood pellets are environmentally sound products produced from compressed organic matter or biomass.

Pellets are categorized according to their calorific value, moisture content, ash content and dimensions. They can be used as fuel for heating or power generation. Pellets are extremely dense and can be produced with a low moisture content, which allows them to burn with very high combustion efficiency.

Wood pellets are characterized with a high efficiency and calorific value, which are up to 50% higher than that of ordinary firewood.

Their high density and small dimensions allow compact storage and easy long-distance transportation.
